About RFC 5952:

RFC 5952 standardizes IPv6 text representation: lowercase hex, the longest run of zero groups compressed with :: (using it only once), and no leading zeros within a group. This tool always produces the canonical form.

Produce both the canonical compressed and fully expanded representations of an IPv6 address.

Inputs

Any valid IPv6 address, compressed or expanded.

Outputs

The RFC 5952 canonical compressed form and the fully expanded 8-group form.

Example

Compress 2001:0db8:0000:0000:0000:ff00:0042:8329 to its canonical form.
